





Job Summary:
The QA Associate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through systematic testing, bug identification, and documentation. The role involves working closely with developers, designers, and project managers to deliver error-free, high-performance products that meet client requirements and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Testing & Quality Control
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of software applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
- Verify fixes and ensure issues are resolved before release.
2. Test Documentation
- Prepare and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test results and share reports with the team.
- Contribute to the creation of user manuals and release notes if required.
3. Collaboration
- Work closely with developers to understand project requirements and features.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving product usability and functionality.
4. Process Adherence
- Follow the company’s QA processes, methodologies, and standards.
- Assist in implementing quality assurance best practices.
- Contribute ideas for improving QA tools and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in software testing or QA roles (internship experience may be considered).
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Selenium, Postman).
- Knowledge of SQL for database validation is a plus.
- Understanding of web, mobile, and API testing is an advantage.
