Sales Officer is someone who is responsible for the overall sales performance. This position requires exceptional analytical, problem-solving and customer service skills. Sales Officer develops an overall business plan, including sales strategies and profit goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and achievement of Coverage, volume & fundamentals in the assigned area and achieving assigned targets of the company within deadlines.
  • Works with all Top Stores & meeting stores to ensure that the products are easily available, visible & recommended to customers.
  • Identifying potential client list as per assigned brands by the company.
  • Generating new customers as well as developing long-term relationships with existing ones.
  •  Ensure that sufficient stock is kept for distribution and visibility for the same.
  • Following up of the product and share complete Daily Reports planned by the company.
  • Planning and achievement of Local Initiatives / priorities and implementation of sales and marketing strategies planned by Sales & Marketing leads.
  • Monitoring competitors’ activity and competitors’ products and giving feedback to the company.
  • Skill up gradation of Sales Executives & Merchandisers.
  • Performance review of his/her team of Sales executives & Merchandisers
  • Ensure proper Payment collection for assigned area.
  • Attending weekly, monthly or quarterly Sales Review Meetings to discuss target versus achievement, product promotion strategies, new launches, and future sales planning.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Must have at least 2+ years of experience in the FMCG field in similar role.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Effective decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have two-wheelers with a valid license.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to consult and negotiate with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well with little supervision
