Position Summary

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and expanding the business footprint in the assigned region. The role demands a strategic leader who can develop and execute effective sales strategies while managing and mentoring a team to meet and exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Strategy and Execution
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals for the assigned region.
    • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the diagnostic/pathology lab segment.
    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to align sales efforts.
  2. Team Management
    • Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team to ensure high performance.
    • Set and monitor sales targets for team members, providing guidance and support.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and offer actionable feedback.
  3. Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and diagnostic labs.
    • Address client needs promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  4. Business Development
    • Identify potential clients and establish partnerships to expand the client base.
    • Promote the company’s diagnostic solutions, tests, and services effectively.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to create tailored campaigns and promotions.
  5. Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.
    • Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in  Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 5-7 years of sales experience in the healthcare, diagnostics, or pathology lab industry.
    • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    • Experience in managing and leading a sales team.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in CRM software.
  • Other:
    • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
    • In-depth knowledge of pathology lab services and diagnostic products.
